Whilst for many there’s a pleasant predictability in sticking to the beaten track, only an untamed landscape absent of marked routes will lead to authentic works of pulsating and far-reaching emotional resonance.

In the following two short films we trace the tracks of Nicolas Ruston and Siris Hill, whose journeys to date have embraced and endured trauma, sleeping rough and The Great Disorder en route to producing their most powerful and profound works.
